Electro escapes prison before Spider-Man can stop him using a kite during a storm to renew his powers. He takes the electricity supply of the city, demanding a ransom. Spider-Man tries to stop him but only just escapes being drawn into a generator. However Spider-Man is able to catch Electro with his special web.
